About Simply Yours Weddings & Etc.
A wedding by definition is “the ceremony or celebration of a
marriage.” Simply Yours Weddings & Etc. began as a desire to take things
back to this idea not only for the Big Day but for the whole planning process. It
is so unfortunate that so many women (including myself) spend their engagements
having to deal with a thousand mini-crises. (Like any wedding crisis is mini…
more like many!) If its not the favors they ordered coming in late, or a mother
of the groom that had made her own additions to the wedding party (without the
knowledge of the Bride), its all of the bridesmaids dresses coming in the week
before the wedding at least two sizes too big or just family drama that comes
with little girls and boys growing up.
My name is Emily Humphries, and helping with weddings is what I love! I truly believe that EVERY Bride
deserves someone who is dedicated to focusing on her dreams. her worries, her
heart and all the details that feel "little" no matter the size of the budget or the wedding. Do I have a magic wedding wand that I wave to make all of
the wedding stress and “mini”-crises go away? Sadly no, however, I do have some
qualities that have been helpful to many friends and Brides over the past few
years. I have a love for the whole process of engagement and wedding planning,
a working wedding knowledge of anything from top-notch vendors to work with, to
etiquette that your Grandmother still thinks HAS to happen, and most
importantly, a listening ear that will never get tired of talking about
“wedding stuff”
Whether you are a month away from the Big Day and just need someone to make those last minute details happen, or you are just getting started, I would love to speak with you, even if you just need someone to get you pointed in the right direction! This process can be overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. My prayer is that you get to enjoy your engagement and truly celebrate this whole process with your fiancé, friends and families!
